The concept for this scarf is the combination of designer's back ground, Asian culture and Czech one. Digital Print on square silk scarf. The designer got that concept by her surroundings: she is originally from Japan but currently studying textile design in Prague, so this situation made her to get the idea, and she decided to design a scarf that describes herself.

Project Duration

This project started in March and finished in May 2019 in Prague, and was exhibited as a part of exhibits in Dutch Design Week, Eindhoven, The Netherlands in October 2019 and was done in the exhibition "Mission, vision, revision" in Prague in January to February 2020.

Inspiration

I've gotten that concept by my surroundings, I am originally from Japan but currently I am studying textile design in Prague but was only one who is studying in my studio there from Asia at that time, so this situation made me to get the idea, and I decided to design the scarf like I describe myself in it.

Oriedental Scarf has been a Bronze winner in the Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns and Cloth Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
