Designer selected the flowers as part of nature and they considered the diamonds around the flowers as dew in nature surrounding the flowers. The brilliance of the dew on the flower adds to the beauty of the flower as a gem that has taken the color of the flowers and it falls. By using enamel colors and a combination of it with jewellery makes this recognizable piece. Metal casting, fire enamel and hand made stone setting is used in the creation of this work.

Unique Properties

I was so interested in using paint in the design and I believe that colors can liven up a piece. By using enamel colors and a combination of it with jewellery will make this recognizable piece.

Production Technology

This pair of earrings is made from 18k yellow gold , 112 round diamonds with total weight 2.2 ct and two natural sapphires with 4.18 ct . The techniques used in the creation of this work : Metal casting , Fire enamel and Hand made stone settings.

Design Challenge

One of the challenges I faced was putting enamel onto the gold, because the enamel is so breakable and should be treated with care. My second challenge was to position the stone near the enamel in a way that would not damage the enamel.

Project Duration

The design and production of this project began in 2021 in Dubai and it took a month.

By designing I tried to illustrate nature as a little framework. I selected the flowers as part of nature and I considered the diamonds around the flowers as dew in nature surrounding the flowers. Rose Flower Earrings has been a Silver winner in the Jewelry Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
