Its dual sided magnetic rings attach firmly to metal surfaces, together with adjustable angles and smooth rotation between portrait and landscape modes to suit any situation. The skin friendly and elastic woven strap fits all hand sizes and grip styles. Just 5mm thick and 37g, its slim, lightweight form feels barely there. Color matched to popular phones, it complements your device and style wherever you go.

Production Technology

The woven strap uses recycled polyester, sourced from post consumer plastic bottles and discarded textiles, reducing reliance on virgin petroleum. It is soft, skin friendly, and highly elastic for a comfortable grip. The robust hinge withstands tens of thousands of open and close cycles, delivering unwavering stability throughout its lifespan. The textured ventilation backplate forms microchannels that boost airflow for efficient heat dissipation while ensuring strong magnetic attachment.

Design Challenge

The challenge was to deliver stable support at multiple angles without bulk. A smooth one finger rotation mechanism enables flexible angle adjustments and effortless switching between portrait and landscape modes, adapting to modern life, whether for working, entertaining, or video calling. Its integrated elastic woven strap provides secure comfortable support, making large phones easier to use. Lightweight yet durable materials further enhance stability and portability without feeling bulky.

Project Duration

The design and development of the phone grip began in Shenzhen, in April 2025. The product was launched in the United States and Japan in September of the same year.

Operation Flow

Its dual sided magnetic rings redefine versatility. The inner ring features N54 magnets with 21N of force for secure attachment to your phone or magnet-compatible phone cases. The outer ring uses N52 magnets with 16N of force for reliable adhesion to car mounts, refrigerators, range hoods, gym equipment, and other ferrous surfaces. Together, they let you place the grip anywhere, whether you are commuting, cooking, working out, or driving, so your phone stays put and your hands stay free.

Designed for urban commuters and those valuing style and quality, the phone grip solves slipping, awkward placement, and shaky support. It merges functionality and aesthetics, keeping your phone securely in place while complementing your style every day. Inspiration

Embodying a lightweight, minimalist aesthetic, the phone grip is just 5mm thick and weighs only 37g. It feels truly barely there and never bulky. Magsafe Phone Grip has been a Bronze winner in the Fashion and Travel Accessories Design award category in the year 2025 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
