Technology is evolving toward fully digital identities, where personal information such as medical records and banking data may be securely stored on chips, reducing the need to carry physical wallets or documents. The Digi Wallet ring transforms this concept into a wearable object through a circuit-inspired lattice structure with a discreet compartment for a removable chip. Compatible with current banking chips and adaptable to future technologies, the design offers a practical and secure solution for everyday digital access.

The ring was designed using 3D CAD jewelry design software with a lattice structure inspired by electronic circuits. The piece is crafted in white gold and set with white and black diamonds, combining precious materials with a contemporary aesthetic. The design integrates a dedicated compartment for a removable chip module, allowing interaction with digital identity or banking technologies while maintaining a refined jewelry form.
One of the main challenges was integrating digital technology into a small jewelry object while maintaining elegance and comfort. The design required balancing technological functionality with aesthetic value. Creating a secure compartment for a removable chip without compromising the rings proportions and wearability was a key challenge during the design process.
The project started in December 2022 in Istanbul and was completed in September 2023 in Istanbul
The ring functions as a wearable digital interface. A removable chip module is securely placed inside the dedicated compartment of the ring. The user can insert or replace the chip depending on the required service such as digital identity or banking access. The design allows everyday wear while seamlessly integrating technology into a refined jewelry object.
The project explores the future of wearable technology and digital identity. As society moves toward fully digital systems there is a growing need for secure and convenient ways to carry personal data. In many situations such as social events or outings people especially women may prefer not to carry a wallet or cards. This ring offers an elegant solution by integrating a removable chip inside a refined jewelry structure allowing essential data to be carried discreetly
The inspiration came from reading about subdermal chip implantation intended to simplify everyday life. This raised a question: why should people undergo invasive procedures to access digital convenience? Instead of embedding technology under the skin, the idea was to create a wearable alternative that offers the same benefits without medical intervention. The ring became a symbolic and practical solution, transforming advanced technology into a safe, elegant, and accessible form.
