Cuff for Moucharabieh
Redefining Oriental jewelry is not limited to its conventional forms, but also encompasses its aesthetics and inspirational potential. A reinterpretation that is attuned to modern times, the Vestiges cuff appears as though it has been unearthed from an archaeological dig, a jewel that bears the marks of time with patterns filled in by sediments. The underlying hexagonal motif, organized in a six-pointed star, draws inspiration from the stars and the sky, evoking the notion of infinite power as seen in Islamic architectural art.

he different pieces of the Vestiges collection are interpreted as vestiges brought to light by an archaeological dig. Jewelry appears to have suffered the ravages of time, with patterns filled in by sediment or rings deformed by the pressure of sediment. The basic hexagonal pattern organized in a six-pointed star refers to the stars, and the sky, and its infinite repetition evokes the concept of infinite power in Islamic architecture.

This 3D lace jewelry was designed using jewelry software and then 3D printed in wax before being cast in 18K yellow gold. It can also be made in 18K white or rose gold.
The process involves designing complex 3D patterns and pushing the design to its technical limits in order to create delicate pieces that can be 3D printed in wax.
The project started in Lille (France) and finished in 2019.
Redefining Oriental jewelry, not just in terms of what it can be, but also in terms of its appearance and inspiration. A reinterpretation that is in line with contemporary times. New technologies are an integral part of the jewelry design process; they enable me to push the boundaries of design to its technical limits and create creations with intricate, captivating, and timeless patterns.
Lines and curves create the patterns and subtle harmony of Moucharabieh jewelry. Their design is inspired by the richness of architecture and cultural history of creative lands, breaking free from boundaries to reveal unique intertwining designs. Each pattern is inspired by the art of Islamic geometric patterns found in ancient and contemporary architecture, representing a thousand-year-old heritage and creating high-end costume jewelry.
A unique 3D design inspired by Islamic architecture that allows you to relive the experience of wonder that comes from discovering art with hypnotic properties: the art of Islamic geometric patterns. With this piece of jewelry, you will leave with the memory of a universal heritage captured by a jewel that shakes up traditional codes of Oriental jewelry with an innovative design.
