Brooch for Jie Jing Jewelry
The overall shape of this brooch is a large wine glass, which in turn has various shapes of shot glasses. The shot glasses represent every moment of celebration, and the akoya pearls represent the bubbles rising from the wine, a series of bubbles dancing as excitedly as those people raising their glasses. This is a soft, lightweight brooch with pearl bubbles that can swing. The back of the brooch is also a wine glass with bubbles flowing, as if you are drinking a glass at this moment.

The brooch is made of 18K gold set with natural diamonds and Japanese akoya pearls. The early stage of the work through the computer version, and then to the late gold version of the positioning adjustment, the glass gives a person is a kind of stiff feeling, but in order to wear comfort, as well as the dynamic pearl bubble, the designer carefully designed different activity positions, so that the wearer feels light and comfortable.
This brooch was completed in September 2023 and exhibited at the Hong Kong Jewelry Exhibition in December 2023
The responsibility that adults bear in today is really heavy. In addition to fierce competition in the workplace, they also have to be responsible for educating their children and caring for their parents. I realized that adult happiness is not easy to come by. So, what can I use to carry happiness with me? So I designed the Cheers brooch, which is a brooch that can stimulate emotions, It can load those happy cheers into it, reminding you of a happy life.
There are many happy moments in life, such as getting married, having a baby, getting promoted, etc. When people want to share happiness with their friends, they often choose to drink together. The inspiration of "Cheers" comes from the bubbles that come out of the glass when it is raised, and the bubbles that rise slowly seem to dance and enjoy the happiness as people do. Life will have ups and downs, but the designer hopes that when people get old and look back on the past, the happy memories will jump out first and make you smile.
