This work combines the palace lantern craft of China's intangible cultural heritage, using rosewood pear as the bone and silk gauze and glass as the coat. The combination of iron wire skeleton and silk gauze is both light and flexible, and layers of exterior insect skeleton are constructed on the human body. It's beautiful and fragile, flimsy and tough, and it shows the X-ray world of life.

Vulnerability is the body's natural "airbag" that turns it into protection when we are faced with a difficult or mentally challenging situation. I think of this protection as an insect exoskeleton attached to our bodies, providing a temporary sense of security. I made this "exoskeleton" into clothes. It's beautiful and fragile, thin and tough.
The design of the work is derived from the first "X" light insect photos of photographer Nick Veasey. Starting from the materials and combination methods, I combined with the palace lantern technology of China's intangible cultural heritage. Finally, I chose the combination of the two materials, the skeleton made of iron wire and the silk gaux, which is both light and flexible. It has the aesthetic feeling of sensibility and rationality.
The design of the work is derived from the first "X" light insect photos of photographer Nick Veasey, and the insects in the photos are both emotional and rational beauty. I was deeply attracted by the insects, so the exoskeleton made into clothing.
