Affinity ring design is a fusion of artistic and historical elegance with modern style. This ring is designed in the shape of a flowing curve. In its material, enamel, which has a historical background in the culture and art of the past, is used with a spectrum of green color on black gold. The overall design idea of this women's ring is inspired by the design of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan, which is one of Zaha Hadid's designs.

On the surface of the ring, rows are repeated in a curved shape and in a parallel direction with a distance of 0.5 mm from each other, which have the material of black gold and enamel with a spectrum of green color, respectively.

Research
The type of research is applied. Data collection and the research tool used is the library method and the study of documents. Objective is to implement the idea of modern ring design using material with a historical and artistic background. According to the results, enamel is a good option because gold and silver do not oxidize in combination with it. Also, it has antiquity, beauty and reasonable price which increase in demand will improve the business and economic prosperity of the society.

This ring is designed in the shape of a flowing curve. In its design, black gold material is used, and rows of enamel with a spectrum of green color are placed on it in a curved and parallel way. The design of the Affinity ring is inspired by the design of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan, which is one of Zaha Hadid's designs.
Project Overview
Affinity Ring has been a Bronze winner in the Jewelry Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality.
