Unique Properties
The overall form of these earrings is very eye-pleasing and has soft curves which is a representative of growth. Unlike other earrings pieces, this model can be divided into two halves, where one of the pieces goes behind the ear and the other one is placed in front of the earlobe. The fact is there are known and unknown facts in nature by human beings is shown perfectly by one piece where it hides behind the ear and one that is placed in front of earlobe.

Production Technology
Parts of this earring have been designed in 3D using rhino and matrix software and 3D printing technology with direct casting. The number of stones used is 90 stones. Of these 90 fragments, 54 are diamonds,36 are Garnet Rhodolite raspberries and a Garnet Rhodolite in size of 6.8 mm and weighing about one carat is used.
Design Challenge
The challenge has been the process of manual design and its three-dimensional execution, Designing a single gem with 8 prongs with the notion of infinity has been the most challenging part of the process.

Operation Flow
The team has been interested in the nature concepts for jewelry design since its initiation and has started writing scenarios based on this fact and brainstorming ideas with respect to this subject. Then an idea is selected as the chosen design of all the concepts. After the concept design phase, the manual design is initiated and the final design enters the technical drawing stage of the product, using rhino and matrix software to make the drawing 3D, and afterward for Its 3D printing wax and also direct casting with 18-carat Rose gold is prepared and the final stage which is diamond setting.
Research
There have been plenty of situations in which the design field has been inspired by nature. This research is the result of the designers’ amazement and excitement by nature and how it reveals new possibilities. When the word design is mentioned what comes to mind is the word description. Here in this design, the main goal was to demonstrate growth in nature despite it being called positive or negative. In order to reach growth, one has to go through hardship which is shown with gem’s culet and once this cycle is complete the earrings finish with round gems as it shows how at the end of any hardship comes the silver lining. This form mystery which is an inseparable part of nature is also shown perfectly by one piece wherefore it goes behind the earlobe and another one comes in front of it.
Inspiration
This design has been inspired by nature and how using it in various forms is trendy in today’s world. Nature can trigger one’s creativity. Throughout history, nature came up with many improving solutions for the challenges it has faced. Every living organism has to go through hardship in order to pass through the growth process. These earrings have been inspired by how going through all the positive and negative aspects of life can lead to growth. Positive features are shown with round gems and negative ones are shown with sharp gems. It can simply be seen how in the end things evolve in a way which positive takes over negative.
