Multifunctional Necklace, High Jewelry, Spring Dance, Mergin
The necklace is mainly handcrafted, using the casting method in some parts. To change the gold color, the enameling method is applied. The use of a number of springs provides the possibility of opening and closing for the handcrafted flower inside the necklace. Various parts of the necklace are designed to be attached to other parts, making the necklace a unique piece of jewelry that can be worn in different shapes.
Designing and crafting each section of this multi-functional necklace required precision to achieve accuracy in dimensions for a perfect fit. Locks had to be matched to several parts, with a dimension sensitivity less than a micrometer. For enameling, it was divided into eighty pieces, facing difficulties due to the curves and the large size. To maintain the spinning mechanism of the ballerina, the ribbon size needed precise calculation. The mechanically blooming flower was crafted with silver several times to achieve a smooth mechanism.

This necklace can be easily transformed into a tiara, two different shapes of necklaces, and could also be used as two various types of pendants and a ring. Behind the flowers and on some other parts, a number of delicate locks are designed so that the function of the jewelry could be changed without any extra effort.
Various research was done to craft this necklace. Several initial samples were created to achieve the suitable curve for the desired final shape of the ribbon. It had to be flexible enough to easily transform into a tiara. The intricate connections and fastenings were adjusted numerous times to create a convenient and transformable piece. Various color combinations were studied to achieve the final enameling result. The internal mechanism of the mechanically blooming flower was tested repeatedly to achieve the desired functionality.
Inspired by ballet and ribbon dance, this necklace encapsulates the soft hues of spring, weaving a tale of a ballerina's journey blossoming with the return of her beloved. Once more, love's flowers flourish in her heart, infusing her life with hope akin to the spring . Delicate motifs and figures in the design mirror the rejuvenating dance of ribbons in ballet.
