Ring for Juwelen Design
This project created from a sense of an Orchid garden. The overall design looks refreshing, vibrant and lively. It is an adjustable size ring with various shapes of Amethyst in the flower petals. The combination of colors is contrast yet attractive with purple and off-white. It consists of duo gems, Amethyst and Pearl and another Pearl with a little butterfly on it. When you wear it on, it looks like a flower and bud floating in between two fingers which contain nature feeling and momentum of movement.

Unique Properties
This project created from a sense of an Orchid garden. It is an adjustable size ring with various shapes of Amethyst in the flower petals. The unique part is there is a duo main gems, apart from Amethyst there is a Pearl in the middle and another Pearl with a little butterfly on it. When you wear it on it looks like a flower and bud floating in between 2 fingers. It is also adjustable size to make it flexible to wear in index or ring finger.

Production Technology
This hand fabricated ring is made of Sterling Silver Rhodium plated set with Amethyst and Pearl with different cuts such as Marquise, Oval, Emerald and Round.
Design Challenge
The creative challenge part is to put together the different shapes of stones into the flower petals also to balance the size of the ring with the design I want to portray
Project Duration
The project started in April 2019 and finished in July 2019
Operation Flow
The keyframe for this project is the adjustable function, apart from size factors, thickness of the metal and practicality matters too

Inspiration
The inspiration was from my balcony which hosting a mini garden consists of various flowers and plants. Orchids are the most favorite and popular flower in our country Malaysia with hot and humid weather all year round. It was one day a moment I was sitting resting enjoying my plants and conveniently plug the blooming purple orchid. I spent some time to study the flower, petal, stem, color, pattern and I would want express my creativity and innovation into a jewelry.
Project Overview
Purple Orchid Ring has been a Iron winner in the Jewelry Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution. Recipients of the Iron A' Design Award are acknowledged for their practical innovations and contributions to their respective fields, providing solutions that improve quality of life and foster positive change. These designs are a testament to the skill and dedication of their creators, showcasing their ability to address real-world challenges through thoughtful design.
