Design Challenge
The most difficult part is the core of the product. The designers hope to output the design standard and design style and form a unified product system with the future style, while the product is the carrier of the design style.
Project Duration
Opening of the project in December 2020, first sale in September 2021
Operation Flow
Storage boxes made of Haptex BASF leather can be placed at home or in a car for storing items. And multiple bag types which made by airbags and safety belts can be placed in multiple environments. In this way, the philosophy of the brand about sustainable fashion is being practiced.
Research
The concept of the collection aims to influence the development of sustainable fashion. Based on the waste of resources in the automotive manufacturing industry, the designers came up with ideas on how to create original and unique products for a new aesthetic. New designs that force consumers to think, make responsible choices and change their consumption habits are at the heart of the design.
Inspiration
The collection is inspired by the waste of resources in the production of automobiles. These materials are of premium quality and create a new aesthetic. Meanwhile, they reduce the planet's resource consumption and promote environmental protection and energy saving in the automobile manufacturing industry.
Project Overview
Blue Sky Lab 2021 Travel and Collection has been a Silver winner in the Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill. Silver A' Design Award recipients are recognized for their contribution to raising industry standards and advancing the practice of design.
