Jewellery for ONESWEAR
The Knight is a jewelry series inspired by medieval chivalry. The collection includes rings and necklaces made of 18K white gold set with diamonds. Some models use 18K black gold with sapphires, and the helmet form is set with black onyx. Elements of armor, shields, belts and swords are simplified into clean sculptural shapes. A three-dimensional sculpture process is used, from hand drawing to 3D modeling, resin testing and gold casting. Polishing, sandblasting, wire drawing and laser engraving complete each piece. The neutral style is intended to suit any wearer.

Production Technology
1. Three-dimensional sculpture process: Combining artistic sculpture techniques with jewelry. Hand-painted to 3D modeling, depicting helmets, armors and other shapes, spraying resin to check the 1:1 effect, and then pouring gold to make jewelry. Using metal processes such as polishing, sandblasting, wire drawing, and hand-knocking balls, laser engraving can be used, and movable structures can be used. 2. Material: The material of this series is mainly 18K white gold + diamonds, and individual models use 18K black gold and sapphire; the helmet is inlaid with black onyx.
Design Challenge
1. How to arouse the viewer's emotional resonance In the theme of "Knight", we bring into the thinking of independent personality in the current society and break the traditional definition - everyone can be their own knight. 2. The shape of the armor Jewelry design is not completely realistic, but more importantly, it extracts the soul elements in the inspiration prototype and applies it reasonably in the design. Appropriate subtraction can sometimes express a fuller connotation.
Project Duration
The project was conceived and conceptualized in Shanghai, China in September 2017, completed in Shanghai in April 2019, and released in China in July 2019
Operation Flow
Taking the spirit of medieval chivalry as a reference prototype, extracting elements such as armor, girdle, shield and sword into the design, symbolizing the loyalty of the knight to watch over love, the neat streamline and the armor complement each other, showing individuality, and also in the inherent relationship between men and women. In between, a neutral expression has been added, implying that everyone can be a knight for themselves or for each other. Knights swear by swords to protect each other and fight for themselves.
Research
Jewelry design expresses new trends; exploration of modern and contemporary art in jewelry design; jewelry design research on emotional resonance; movable jewelry structure research; 18K black gold material application; three-dimensional sculpture technology research. The study found that if the current people's emotional concept and jewelry design are combined, the jewelry can be upgraded from a single wearing function to the expression of emotional resonance.
Inspiration
The design of this series is inspired by the European medieval chivalry. Fast food love is prevalent, guardianship and companionship have become rare, and chivalry is even more precious. Based on this, the knight series is developed and designed to pay tribute to the love that goes both ways and protects each other. Use the shield as a claw to firmly guard the hard and bright diamond. The diamond lights up the knight. It is the light of redemption and the glorious guardian of a lifetime.
